Corporate Air was started in 1972 by local interests who perceived the need for a safe and professional aircraft charter company that could offer a variety of aircraft and services that were not previously available in the Canberra region.

Since that time the company has continued to grow in size and reputation and is today one of Australia’s longest established and most experienced aviation operators. Corporate Air is the largest aviation operator based at Canberra Airport.

Today the company offers a broad range of services. These include Australia-wide and international passenger charter, express freight and aerial imaging. Corporate Air also provides ground handling at Canberra Airport for itinerant airline, corporate and freight aircraft.

Pilots employed by Corporate Air are highly experienced and our internal Training and Checking organisation ensures that standards are continually maintained. It is a source of pride to the management of Corporate Air that these standards are recognised by major airlines such as Qantas, National Jet Systems, Virgin Blue and Cathay Pacific.

Highly qualified aircraft engineers and technicians maintain the Corporate Air fleet. Their focus and commitment to safety by maintaining only the Corporate Air fleet of aircraft ensures that Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulations are always met.

Corporate Air has an outstanding safety record. In accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulations Corporate Air holds a Domestic and International Air Operators Certificate (AOC # NSW 204517) which permits Corporate Air to operate worldwide.
